Eastern Province Water Transmission Project

Client :SWCC(Saline Water Conversion Corporation)
Purpose :
To meet the fast growing demand of public and industrial users, SWCC planned this project to be located parallel to sea shore between the cities of Jubal, Dammam & AL Khobar to transfer 500,000M3/day of treated water from Marafik Desalination plant in Jubail Industrial City to Damam, Khobar, Safwa, Qatif, & Sayhat. The pipe line consisted of 24”, 36”, 60” and 76”.
The pipeline is 133KM long.
ATC performed the construction and commissioning of pumping stations, main pipelines, line valves, steel water storage tanks, complete SCADA & telecommunication etc.
Our Solution :
A.Abunayyan Trading Corporation, participated in this challenging project by timely supply of all 943 Line and Pump Station valves from Magwen GmbH Germany. The valves supplied are Class 150- Class 900, Top Entry / Split body Ball valves, Tri Eccentric Butterfly valves, Gate valves, Swing & Non Slam Nozzle Check valves and Control Valves with Electro Hydraulic Actuators.
